Boise used a superb performance from starting pitcher Domingo Trinidad to down the Frisco Rams, 4-0. Trinidad, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. Juan Pérez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Boise put some pressure on Frisco in the top of the eighth. With Frisco trailing 1-0, Shunen Kato hit a single. But the Rams limited the damage and escaped with a victory. Boise manager Arinori Nakamura said his team had nothing to be ashamed of after the tough loss.

Boise is 20-19 and Frisco, with the loss, 24-16.
