Long Island pitcher Kunimichi Suzuki did his part in helping his team beat the New York Ninjas, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, Long Island has a record of 17-19. New York falls to 16-19.
In the bottom of the first inning, designated hitter Yoshitoki Kitamura had a key at-bat for the Ducks. With Long Island leading 1-0, he banged a 2-run home run.
