Victory Pushes Shamrocks Record to 22-13
|
Starting pitcher Junji Terada pitched well enough to help the Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Marysville Monarchs by the score of 7-3. Terada got the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. Terada allowed 1 earned run. Bernard Coste sewed up the save, his 2nd.
The fans who came in support of the Shamrocks were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at McCormick Field.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Terada said.
Pacifica is first in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division with a record of 22-13.
