It was a good time at The Studio, where fans came to watch the Madison Beehive and Cincinnati Snaps get after it.
The Cincinnati Snaps defeated the Madison Beehive, 9-4, at The Studio. Cincinnati left fielder Ken Simpson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Cisco Núñez picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 2-2.
Wang Huang had a productive trip to the plate with two out in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, helping Cincinnati to the win.
"They played a better game than we did," said Madison skipper Quinn Patrick.
Cincinnati is third in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 15-19.
