Lights Take Down Monarchs, 4-1
|
Phoenix got a strong outing from Nicolas Dupuis as the Lights defeated the Marysville Monarchs, 4-1, at Mitts Fieldhouse. Phoenix is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Doing his part for Phoenix was second baseman George Rudyard, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, Rudyard was 1 for 4 with a walk.
"Nicolas did a tremendous job," said Phoenix manager Michael Barnett.
