Frisco withstood an impressive performance by Youngstown right fielder William Banks to defeat the Tune-Ups, 6-5, at Outlander Park. Banks went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Callum Butler earned the save, his 11th, for the Rams. Frisco is now 22-12.
Rexburg, Idaho-born Mark Spencer came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded and the Rams trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single to left to put Frisco on top.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Spencer.
