Dallas Texans starter Dan Edwards was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Rubber City Rhinos, 4-1. In 5.1 innings, Edwards surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Adrien Clément was credited with the save for Dallas, his 12th of the season.
The Dallas triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Tzu-yu Xuan. In the top of the fourth, the Dallas third baseman hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 1-0 lead.
"We put together a nice win," Xuan said.
Dallas is now 19-17, Rubber City 24-13.
