Enforcers Pull Even With 4-2 Victory
|
The Atlantic City Enforcers got a stellar performance from pitcher Guo-quiang Zhào, who handcuffed the Sandy Springs offense en route to a 4-2 win at The Coliseum. The win takes Atlantic City to 15-15.
Luis López's at-bat in the top of the third was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 2-2. The Atlantic City second baseman hit a run-scoring single off Riley Goodall to put the Enforcers up.
Sandy Springs manager António Chávez said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
