The Silicon Valley Hackers scored a 4-3 win versus the Rock River Rats at The Rat Hole. Silicon Valley first baseman Allen Foley nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Silicon Valley reliever Guo-xiu Du picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. George Fortin Jr. was collared with the loss. Silicon Valley is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 11th win in 29 games.

Foley had an impressive at-bat with the game on the line. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he hit a first pitch forkball from George Fortin Jr. for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Hackers took the lead, 4-3.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Rock River manager Hervé Barthélémy, "let me know."
