The Hawks grabbed a win, 7-6, at Basque Block Field, overcoming a fine effort from New York pitcher Paolo Jens. Jens went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. James Woodard picked up the save for Boise, his 6th of the year. With the loss, New York is 13-12.

Boise took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, right fielder Andrew MacPartland hit a 2-run home run that aroused the crowd.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said MacPartland.
