Youngstown right fielder William Banks was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Wichita beat the Tune-Ups, 8-6. Banks was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Tune-Ups drop to 12-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2032 season.

With Wichita trailing 3-2 and a runner on 1st, the Wolverines fortunes got a boost when second baseman Ken Bush turned a full count fastball from Dalijit Tagore into his 5th home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Wichita up, 4-3.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Bush, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
