Mustang Saddle Hackers with 5-1 Loss

Though the conditions were not ideal, the Carson City Mustang and Silicon Valley Hackers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Carson City Mustang starter Mike Steveson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-1. Steveson, now 4-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run.
In the top of the fourth inning, designated hitter Pedro Moreno came through big-time for the Mustang. With Carson City leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Steveson said.
The Hackers fall to 10-16 and continue their lackluster start to the 2032 season.
