Hawks Drop Another One
|
The Phoenix Lights picked up a win at UFO Field, knocking off the Boise Hawks, 5-4. Starting pitcher Nicolas Dupuis played a key role in the triumph. With the win, Phoenix goes to 11-14.
The Lights took the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the eighth. Guillermo Sáenz had the clutch at-bat. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Boise manager Arinori Nakamura.
