In a well-pitched game between the San Antonio Storm Troopers and the New York Ninjas, pitcher Dave Munier was fantastic. The San Antonio left-hander was named the player of the game in San Antonio's 2-0 win. With the win over New York, the Storm Troopers improved to 57-75.

San Antonio took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Ricardo Morales stroked a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Storm Troopers.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Casey Ramey. "That was the problem."
