Late Magic Gets New York 9-6 Win
|
New York right fielder Logan Moran was instrumental in his team's 9-6 win over the San Antonio Storm Troopers. Moran, who is tied for 10th in the FFL in RBI with 16, went 3-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Ninjas. New York reliever Takeji Wada picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Carl Bragg absorbed the loss. New York is now 13-10.
Alex Allen in the top of the eighth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Ninjas leading 3-2, the New York pinch hitter hit a 2-run single.
When asked about his performance after the game, Allen said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
