The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats got a stellar effort from pitcher Qing-lai Juan, helping Buzzard's Bay score a 5-2 win over the visiting Frisco Rams. Mike Salter earned the save, his 7th, for the Beetlecats. Buzzard's Bay, now 13-8, has played well in the early going.

Flexing his muscles for Buzzard's Bay was Jeff Klein. The second baseman had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second for the Beetlecats. It put his team ahead, 4-1, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Klein was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Good win for us," said Klein. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
