Arroyo, Storm Troopers Fall to Rats

The first-place Rock River Rats welcomed San Antonio to The Rat Hole.
Jooki Arroyo did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the San Antonio Storm Troopers from losing, 7-4, to the Rock River Rats at The Rat Hole. Arroyo went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Rats, now 14-7, have been red hot.
Nobuatsu Nakashima chipped in for Rock River, stroking a crucial 2-run triple in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Rock River manager Hervé Barthélémy.
