Tight Tilt Goes to Red Bulls, 3-2
|
The Riverside Red Bulls took Phoenix pitcher Deug-yeom Park's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Red Bull Stadium. The final score had Riverside getting past the Lights, 3-2. Park went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 9. The Lights, now 8-14, continue their poor start.
Riverside took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Juan Negrón hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Red Bulls fans to their feet.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Michael Barnett.
