Beehive Lose to Spartans in Walk Off
The Sandy Springs Spartans eked out a 9-8 win versus the Madison Beehive at The Coliseum. Nobody did more than center fielder Pat Schmoll, who captured player of the game honors. The Beehive, at 7-15, have stumbled out of the gate.

Chuck McNeil came up big for Sandy Springs in a pressure situation. In the bottom of the ninth, the 21-year-old pinch hitter hit a walk-off 2-run triple, putting the Spartans on top, 9-8.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," McNeil told the Sandy Springs News.
