Monarchs Squelch Hackers Offense in Shutout Win
Marysville left-hander David Lidstone pitched his team to a shutout win, 5-0, over the Silicon Valley Hackers. The win moves Marysville to a record of 12-8.

Marysville center fielder Juan López laid a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the top of the third. It was his 2nd home run of the season. With it, the Monarchs took a 2-0 lead.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Bob Miller.
