|
Not everyone stuck through the 63-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
Boise center fielder Pete Freeman had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 10-4 win over the Newark Jail Birds. The Jail Birds fall to 6-12 and continue their lackluster start in 2032.
The Hawks got a big at-bat from left fielder Bernardo Ramírez. For the game, Ramírez was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 5th hit of the season gave Boise a 3-2 lead.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Ramírez said.
