The Shamrocks had to overcome a good performance from Riverside pitcher Héctor González to claim a 6-3 win at Red Bull Stadium. González went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Pacifica reliever Carlos Martínez was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Joe Mason took the loss for Riverside. Tony Torres nailed down his 4th save.

Ta-heng Wang in the top of the eighth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Shamrocks leading 4-3, the Pacifica designated hitter hit a 2-run single.

Wang told a Pacifica Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Pacifica improves to 9-7 as they look to defend their championship.
