The Spokane Bulldogs topped the DeKalb Cornhuskers by the score of 9-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Kendrick MacAulay. MacAulay went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Bulldogs on the day. Kevin Labbee earned the save, his 3rd, for the Bulldogs. With the win, Spokane elevates its record to 7-8.

Had it not been for Javier Guillén, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Bulldogs were trailing 6-5, Guillén hit a 2-run single for Spokane, giving his team the lead.

In comments to the Spokane Times, MacAulay insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
