The Frisco Rams did just enough to secure a 7-6 victory over the Jacksonville Hellcats at Hellcats Park. Nobody did more than shortstop Kunihiro Shibata, who captured player of the game honors. Callum Butler, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. The Rams, now 10-5, have been red hot.

The Rams got a clutch hit from Stanton Miller with two out in the top of the eighth inning. Miller jumped on a full count fastball from Noriaki Ine and hit a single, staking his club to a 5-4 lead.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Miller. "The only team that can beat us is us."
