Red Bulls Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Riverside Red Bulls wiggled past the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-4, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Riverside designated hitter Juan Negrón earned player of the game honors. Riverside reliever Jay Retter was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Willie Fierro. The Hackers fall to 6-8 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Bill Kehoe made it 5-4 in favor of Riverside when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the tenth. The Red Bulls went on to win.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Kehoe.
