Felipe Leyva was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Topeka and Wichita. The Predators right-hander was named the player of the game in Topeka's 3-0 win. The winning pitcher was Leyva, now 1-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Edmundo Luas locked down his 4th save.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Jorge Arellano didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Wichita trailing 2-0, Arellano retired Alan Lehman to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Arellano, with a wink.

The Wolverines fall to 5-7 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2032 season.
