Cincinnati played host to Wichita at the friendly confines of The Studio.

Ukessun Ilaes pitched a gem to lead Cincinnati to a 5-1 victory over the Wichita Wolverines. Armando Hernández recorded his 1st save for Cincinnati.

The Snaps got a lift from first baseman Jim McNutt, who in the bottom of the first hit a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Snaps on top, 1-0.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Ilaes.

The Wolverines, now 5-5, continue their slow start.
