Dominant Performance by Hernandez in DeKalb Win
|
Victor Hernandez was superb against Long Island. The right-hander, who is rated as the 62nd best prospect by BNN, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 4-2 Cornhuskers victory. The Ducks drop to 5-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2032 season.
The Ducks had few good swings against Hernandez, the right-hander, who threw 102 pitches over 7.2 innings. He allowed just no runs on 2 hits.
"I had a good game plan," said Hernandez. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Eduardo Varerla said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
