Frisco Beats Riverside, 7-5

The Frisco Rams grabbed a 7-5 win over the Riverside Red Bulls at Outlander Park. Frisco right fielder Iván Romo was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once to earn player of the game honors. The winner was Natsuo Tanaka in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Daryl Walder took the loss. Callum Butler picked up the save for Frisco, his 5th of the year.
Frisco took a 7-3 lead on Romo's 5th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Iván Cabrera in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Frisco to the win.
"The vibe's good," said Frisco manager Rafael Castillo. "We've got to keep it going."
The win brings the Rams to 8-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
