Wichita and Cincinnati duked it out at The Studio and the Wolverines came out victorious.

The Wichita Wolverines bested the Cincinnati Snaps, 9-7, at The Studio. Stewart Gee was named player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win was Víctor Flores's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Naganori Sakaguchi took the loss for Cincinnati.

Wichita grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Gee hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Wolverines out in front, 9-6.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Gee said after the game.

The win takes Wichita to 5-4.
