Rock River left-hander Adam Lewis made an effective start against the New York Ninjas at Confucius Field, leading his team to a 8-7 win. At 7-2, the Rats have played well so far.

Also pitching in for Rock River was third baseman Nobuatsu Nakashima, who hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, Nakashima went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
