Hellcats Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Jacksonville Hellcats picked up a win at Hellcats Park, knocking off the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 9-5. Starting pitcher Tetsuzan Ono, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ono picked up the win for Jacksonville, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Noriaki Ine earned his 1st save in 1 tries.

Also having an impact was first baseman Tong-sik An, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the first for Jacksonville. For the game, An was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI.

"Tetsuzan's tempo and rhythm were good," said Hellcats manager Pete Dellow. "He was the key to us winning."

The Tune-Ups fall to 4-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2032 season.
