Rams Take Down Hawks, 8-3
The Frisco Rams downed the Boise Hawks, 8-3, at Outlander Park. Troy Roberts led the way, going 3-for-3 for Frisco. Frisco reliever Scott Boorman picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Domingo Trinidad took the loss. Callum Butler got the save, the 3rd for him this season.

Roberts contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Frisco get the win.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Roberts. "But I like how we're playing right now."

The win brings the Rams to 6-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
