The first-place Rock River Rats welcomed Sandy Springs to The Rat Hole.

The Rock River Rats got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-3 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Player of the game honors went to catcher Nick Dye. Dye went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The Rats, now 6-2, have been playing some good baseball.

Dye had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Rats went on to win.
