Youngstown Tune-Ups starter Dominic Smith turned in a sterling performance against the Frisco Rams, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. Youngstown is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 2nd in 5 games.

Yasuo Sakamoto provided some late-game heroics for Youngstown. In the bottom of the 11th inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 1-1 sinker from Turan Garibova and propelled Youngstown to a 2-1 lead.

Smith told the Youngstown News: "I think I thrive on conflict. It brings out my best."
