Beehive Deal Snaps 5-4 Setback
|
Cincinnati center fielder Greg Bova had a good game, even if his team did not. The Snaps dropped a 5-4 decision to Madison at The Hive. Bova went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. John Haines recorded his 1st save for Madison. The win takes Madison to 2-3.
The Beehive used some clutch hitting to beat the Snaps, a good example being the at-bat of Alfredo Correa in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, Correa gave his team the lead, 5-3, when he hit a 2-run single.
"Both teams played hard," said Madison manager Quinn Patrick.
