Monarchs Bang Out 10-4 Win Versus Phoenix
|
Carter Kotas made an impact in the 10-4 Marysville win over Phoenix. Kotas, the first overall pick in the 2029 draft, went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Marysville is now 2-2.
The Monarchs took the lead in the top of the second when Juan Pérez banged a two-out double. Marysville had been trailing 2-0, but Pérez hit a 0-1 fastball from José Castro for a bases-clearing double.
