Hellcats Knock Off Hawks at Hellcats Park

Boise center fielder Anastasio Pineda had a good game, even if his team did not. The Hawks dropped a 5-4 decision to Jacksonville at Hellcats Park. Pineda went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Roberto Mejía got credit for the save for Jacksonville. It was his 1st of the year. The Hellcats have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 1st win in 3 games.
Bill Petipas, who was drafted in the two round of the 2025 draft, aided the Jacksonville cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk.
"It was a good effort all around," said Petipas.
