The Long Island Ducks and New York Ninjas obliged those fans who came to Long Island Stadium hoping for an exciting game.

Kaihei Green was instrumental in his team's 13-12 triumph over the New York Ninjas. The shortstop went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Long Island Ducks. With the win, Long Island elevates its record to 2-0.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 12-12, first baseman Ken Cashmann won it for Long Island. With a runner on 3rd, Cashmann hit a full count changeup from Dae-je Kwak for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 13-12 win.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Cashmann. "I think we showed that here."
