The Acapulco Banditos topped the Silver Lake Baristas by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Ronald Sanders. Sanders went 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Banditos. Acapulco reliever Fabio de Kroon picked up the win, bumping his record to 7-5. Joe Hutchins was collared with the loss. John Freemann earned his 6th save in 9 chances.
Sanders had a key at-bat for Acapulco early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Acapulco an early 4-0 lead.
