The Bowling Green Racers knocked off the Scranton Escape, 13-4, at Hell Stadium. Sam Lynch, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Bowling Green won. The right fielder was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Bowling Green reliever Jorge Guerrero was the winner. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Rino Nitisastro. Gerardo Garza was credited with the save for Bowling Green, his 2nd of the season.

Kwang-rak Song delivered a big hit for the Racers. The veteran shortstop belted a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth. The longball put Bowling Green on top, 11-4. Overall, Song was 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
