Minneapolis catcher Harley Ware had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-2 win over the Pasadena Bumblebees. Minneapolis leads the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division by 11 games.
Ware had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-2 fastball from Jim Unknown, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Freeze a 4-2 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Ware.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ware.
