Raiders Squelch Fireballs Offense in Shutout Win
Right-hander Jorge Mota mesmerized the Joplin Fireballs while leading the Reno Raiders to a 5-0 victory. Reno is second in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 80-79.

Also pitching in for Reno was third baseman Casey Freemann, who hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Freemann was 1-2 with a home run and a walk.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Jeremy Lake.
