Loss to Titans Extends Acapulco Losing Streak
Chicago right-hander Yoshida Yamamoto made an effective start against the Acapulco Banditos at The War Dome, leading his team to a 6-4 win. Chicago reliever Matt Calderón picked up the win, upping his record to 10-5. Francisco Encarnación was saddled with the loss. The save went to Sherwin Aberin, his 5th this season.

One of the key players for the Titans was left fielder Takahashi Takahashi, who drilled a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Takahashi was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Chicago manager Bill Riordan.

This loss makes it 7 in a row for Acapulco.
