Caterpillars Suffer 3-1 Setback
In a tight game between the Billings Mustangs and the Peoria Caterpillars, pitcher Luis Sánchez was terrific on the mound. The Billings right-hander was named the player of the game in Billings's 3-1 win. John Otten picked up the save for Billings, his 16th of the year. Billings is now 72-86, Peoria 78-80.

Billings took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With two out, shortstop Tony Ramirez hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Sánchez said.
