The Fairfield Flash went home winners at Top of the Hill, thanks in large part to starter Gabriel Fajardo. Fajardo silenced the Bowling Green Racers, enabling Fairfield to grab the 6-1 win. Fajardo went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-0. The wins continue to add up for Fairfield, with the latest making it 8 in a row.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Top of the Hill crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Fairfield manager Gary Altman.
