Cacti Deal Phantoms Painful Loss
The Albuquerque Cacti did just enough to sneak past the Coronado Phantoms, 6-5, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque left fielder Munoto Okuta earned player of the game honors. Albuquerque now sits at 82-74, while Coronado falls to 70-86.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 5-5, catcher Scotti Scannell won it for Albuquerque. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Scannell hit a 0-1 fastball from You-liang Rang for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 6-5 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Scannell said.
