The Philadelphia Freedom defeated the Billings Mustangs, 8-5. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Hugo Henrique, who went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Shojiro Inoue in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Owen Dand took the loss. Humberto Saucedo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

Bill O'Brien had a nice at-bat for the Freedom with no one out in the top of the seventh. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the right fielder hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Philadelphia win.
