The skies opened up and the rain fell at Underdogs Ballpark.

Fairfield used a superb performance from starting pitcher Yeong-suk Kim to down the Acapulco Banditos, 7-0. Tony Torres recorded his 1st save for Fairfield.

A key at-bat came in the top of the seventh inning. With a runner on 2nd, the batter, Nesto Castillo, hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, Fairfield, and helped them go on to win.

"This team is real focused right now," said Fairfield manager Gary Altman.

The Flash, at 92-62, have now won 5 straight.
