Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Mustangs
In a close game at Cobb Field, the Billings Mustangs edged the Bronx Bombers, 5-4. Billings first baseman Way-ming Wang earned the nod as player of the game. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Billings reliever John Otten was the winner. His record is now 2-6. The losing pitcher was Juan Mascote. With the win, Billings goes to 70-84, while the Bombers fall to 63-88.

Billings won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Juan Mascote on the mound for Bronx, third baseman Tony Ramirez hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mustangs fans to their feet.
